FEB 4 – Socially Responsible Recruitment

We apologise for upsetting everyone’s schedule, however, due to the level of interest in the topic of socially responsible recruitment and the number of organization’s whom have informed us that due to their year-end there have been a number of unexpected and last minute scheduling conflicts we have determined that it would be better to move the meeting to the 4th of February. We apologise for such short notice of an event change and we hope for those of you whom have accepted that you will attend the February session. Once the venue is confirmed a new meeting request will be sent out.  Everyone will have the option of forwarding the meeting request.

On February 4th, we will explore the standard definition of social responsibility and explore how talent acquisition can shape and be a leader in their organisation and the community at large. Being socially responsible means that people and organisations must behave ethically and with sensitivity toward social, cultural, economic and environmental issues. Striving for social responsibility helps individuals, organisations and governments have a positive impact on development, business and society with a positive contribution to bottom-line results. Let’s have an open and frank discussion about what challenges inhibit you from being a leader in social responsibility and how to overcome these challenges.

Again this is an open event to non members, if you have any professional connections in the community or in your current organisation who would like to attend you are welcome to share the invitation.
